The talkbox effect is best with the volume set a little less than maxed out, usually playing no more than 2 notes at a time.

First, make sure you have watched the YouTube trailer and tried the 'how to' section in the app.

MAJ: This talkbox is a major scale- do re mi fa so la ti do. A blues scale can be made with purple as the root (skip pink and green).

BLUES: This is the original pocket talkbox. The blues scale is centered on the orange button.

CALI: These smooth tones and notes are set to the chorus of California Love by 2PAC. Starting on red, it's a natural minor scale, but can be used for major if you start on yellow.

3RDS: Each note is actually two notes in harmony. The polyphony setting allows you to easily create big chords. If the info button says C, you are really hearing both C and E.

MONO: This mode allows only one note to be played at a time. It supports hammer-ons and pull-offs and plays like a real synth.

POLY: This mode allows multiple notes to be played at the same time. Use it for chords and to emulate a vocoder sound.

FLIP: If you are left handed, or depending on where your (Android) speaker is located, you may want to use this setting to flip the orientation of the buttons.

INFO: Displays the note names. This is most useful for changing keys, but comes in handy for any number of musical reasons.

KEY: Allows you to raise and lower the pitch. Use the test tone to match pitch by ear, or turn on info to set to a specific key.
